My fellow Spoony fans, for far too long we’ve been reactive to the bad elements in our fandom. Every time one of our brethren goes out there and harasses Lupa, or goes on a misogynistic rant on the forums or Twitter or Tumblr, we go to people and quietly whisper, “we’re not all like that.” Well, we’re not, but whispering it in Allison’s ear doesn’t help anything. We need to start screaming it in the ears of the bad ones. We need to go on the offensive with these people who are so deranged that even Noah himself telling them that something isn’t true won’t stop them from believing it is. Someone that openly disdainful for fact is not worthy of polite consideration. They need to be mocked mercilessly until they go away. You see a fellow Spoony Experiment fan being a jerk to someone, don’t apologize to the attacked, let loose on the attacker with both barrels. Don’t be kind. Show no mercy.
Not being one of the bad ones is no longer good enough. Silence is consent people!
